PEDALITALY Abruzzo Summer Race | EU
A spectacular race in the heart of Italy, in the unspoiled nature of the Abruzzo National Park.
The departure is from the center of Alfedena, a town in the province of L’Aquila and an ancient Samnite center. The itinerary continues north-west towards Barrea, a tourist village where you can see the blue waters of Lake Celeste.
In the presence of the peaks of the central Abruzzo Apennines, you will reach Villetta Barrea. After crossing the small town, the road climbs up without excessive slopes. The vegetation of the Park runs along the entire route until it gives way to the wide pastures of the Godi Pass at an altitude of 1630 meters above sea level, where the finish line of the PEDALITALY Abruzzo Summer Race is set.
